Bio - James Alley
James is passionate about helping community groups and not-for-profit organisations to engage with government, business, and industry to achieve their goals for local communities.
He has strong public sector experience that spans up to 20 years, and through his employment with various Federal and State Government and Private Sector bodies has considerable expertise in helping community and not-for-profit organisations with:
- Project management
- Stakeholder management
- Negotiating strategic partnerships
- Quality Management System review, design and implementation, and
- Writing funding proposals
James is a descendant of the Kuku Yalanji, Waluwarra and Kalkadoon peoples of Far North and North West Queensland.
His qualifications include Master of Arts in Indigenous Social Policy and Diploma of Health Science (Aboriginal Community Development) and he is skilled in Quality Management Systems auditing.
